| General Surface | Surface must be smooth and clean from any oil, dust and debris. Use it with specific Carboline primer for use on any surface |
| Surface preparation for steel | Use with certain Carboline primers on a clean and smooth surface. (Refer to PDS) |
| Surface Preparation for Painted Surface | The surface must be clean and dry. However you must slightly roughen the existing coat to proper bonding. The new coating must be compliant with 3A rating as per ASTM D3359 |
